The ADS-B Status Tool is a utility application intended for use with the “XGPS190 GPS + ADS-B Weather and Traffic Receiver with AHRS” and "The XGPS170(D) GPS + ADS-B Weather & Traffic Receiver" manufactured by Dual Electronics Corp.

This application offers detailed information from the XGPS170(D) and XGPS190 devices, such as:
<ul>
 <li>Confirmation of the connection status between the receiver and your iOS device</li>
 <li>Availability of an active ADS-B signal reception on the device</li>
 <li>Type of ADS-B information being received</li>
 <li>Number of GPS satellites in view with their respective signal strengths</li>
 <li>Current location data or satellite information acquisition status</li>
 <li>Battery level indicator</li>
 <li>Charging status display</li>
</ul>

Installation of this application is discretionary, as the XGPS units do not depend on its presence in order to function with your iPhone or iPad.

 <li>This application does not serve as a replacement for the Electronic Flight Bag (EFB) app on your iPhone or iPad.</li>
 <li>The information provided within this application is for reference purposes only, and should not be relied upon for critical flight decisions.</li>
