The ADS-B Status Tool is a utility application intended for use with the “XGPS190 GPS + ADS-B Weather and Traffic Receiver with AHRS” and "The XGPS170(D) GPS + ADS-B Weather & Traffic Receiver" manufactured by Dual Electronics Corp.
This application offers detailed information from the XGPS170(D) and XGPS190 devices, such as:
- Confirmation of the connection status between the receiver and your iOS device
- Availability of an active ADS-B signal reception on the device
- Type of ADS-B information being received
- Number of GPS satellites in view with their respective signal strengths
- Current location data or satellite information acquisition status
- Battery level indicator
- Charging status display
Installation of this application is discretionary, as the XGPS units do not depend on its presence in order to function with your iPhone or iPad.

- This application does not serve as a replacement for the Electronic Flight Bag (EFB) app on your iPhone or iPad.
